Benedict Auld, Founder & CEO

Ben has more than 25 years of experience in strategy, spanning sectors that include apparel, beauty, beverages, food, travel & leisure, education, technology, financial services, and media. Ben founded Lapidarius to help small to mid-cap firms achieve outsized rates of growth and change on their terms. Part of his role is to create an environment for strategy that attracts, retains, inspires and advances the best and brightest thinkers in industry. He also leads strategic alliances, IP development, and client oversight. Ben holds an honors degree from Queen’s University, Kingston, in Philosophy. He is a citizen of both Canada and the United Kingdom. 


Isabel Babcock, Creative Director

Isabel is a design strategist with over ten years of experience in brand creation and visual communications on a global scale. Isabel holds a bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a graduate certificate from Miami Ad School @ Portfolio Center. She has led large scale branding initiatives for the likes of Dell Technologies, KPMG, Benjamin Moore and Nespresso. In 2016 she founded KillWolf, a boutique design studio focused on the creation of elegant brand identity systems for business. Most recently she led the rebrand and launch for Padgett, a national tax and business advisory brand.
